An accurate and detailed starfield derived from real data. All 9000+ stars visible to the naked eye are represented with catalogued position, colour and brightness values. This results in a starfield containing visible and recognisable constellations and patterns, all while having excellent performance with no particles, no large textures, and no resolution issues when zoomed in. An optional sun and moon (as viewed from Earth) are included.
