Moon 80k is derived from over 1 billion polygons, with terrain data powered by Nanite, enabling highly detailed viewing of the Moon for a variety of purposes, in real-time. The total color map is over 81,000 pixels wide and 40,000 pixels high which is based on real data. The normal map is over 40,000 x 20,000 pixels, and allows for normal flatness to be adjusted, changing the intensity of the normal map features.


This project provides the Moon in two separate levels, one small stylized and artistic, while the other is is more realisitc.


Moon 80k requires SM6 to be enabled for Nanite if using Unreal Engine 5.1. SM6 is enabled by default in Unreal Engine 5.1.


Note: This project is large at nearly ~2.85 GB in size.
