Fix's Skeletal mesh import scale issue common with importing from blender, due to the scale difference of UE CM vs Blender Meters.

Also allows you to rescale your skeleton and all its mesh's while keeping a uniform root bone scale of 1.0.

If the root isn't scaled to 1.0 it can cause issues with creating and editor physics assets and becomes a hassle to deal with in animations and object bounds.

Technical Details

Features:

  •  Fix the import issue of root bone scale being 100.0 when importing from Blender or other applications that don't use CM as the scale unit by rescaling the Skeletal mesh and applying a uniform scale to the root bone.
  • Fix's the issue when editing skeletal mesh physics asset bodies, if the root scale is not 1.0 then editor bodies becomes a hassle since every body transform is actually 100x smaller than visual scale.
  •  Requires reapplying when you reimport the mesh.
  • Can apply selectively to a individual mesh that you may import at a later date for the skeleton and need to rescale it too.
