Please note that Virtual textures need to be enabled in your project settings.
On UE5.1 please set your Lumen scalability settings to HIGH.
A complete environment replicating a Central European Pine forest and it's various plants, rocks and debris.
Procedural placement of foliage and rocks provides a carefully crafted blend between top visual quality and performance.
All materials are using texture packing to save on texture samplers.
The landscape material is equipped with 6 main layers, 3 auto layers, a RemoveSlope, a RemoveFoliage layer and a procedural puddles layer.
A separate landscape layer is available for river- and lakebeds.
Everything is set up to be easily modifiable and intelligently exposes all the parameters you would want to tweak.
The assets and their material system encourage creative asset use and combining, ensuring enormous flexibility.
FEATURES:
- 141+ professionally captured and handcrafted high quality models from an expert of the field
- Procedural generation and placement of all included plants and scatter meshes
- Carefully balanced performance and optimization of every included component
- Highly adaptable asset materials, including automatically adjusting worldaligned detail layers, 2-blend Moss layers, Wetness layers, vertex paint blend layers, AO mask layers, variation masks and much more
- Landscape material with up to 11 layers, with Auto layers, sublayers, large and small scale texture variation and normals
- Adjustable real POM, 4 tap BumpOffset and PDO shadows on landscape layers and meshes (PDO not supported with RVT/Nanite), Tessellation on UE4, VHFM can be used on UE4 and UE5
- Full RVT support, enabled by default
- A handcrafted 1km2 example map, showcasing the different biomes and assets, including roads and rivers
- Texture packed workflow to ensure texture sampling savings and flexibility
- Dynamic vertex shader based foliage collision for thinner branches and smaller plants, to ensure optimal navigation and realistic interactions even in thick forests
- Vertex paintable watercover layer, so you can paint water plants onto all included water surfaces
- User placeable local volumetric fog meshes
