this asset comes with a blueprint that incorporates all the effects, animations and dynamic materials required to make this asset function as intended. you can use the variables in that blueprint to activate different states in order to have it incorporate easily into an existing game.
These variables are:
Reload: (triggers the animations for reload in both the gun and the UE4 SK arms)
Fire: (triggers the fire animation in both the gun and the UE4 SK arms and creates and instance of the muzzle flash effect at the end of the barrel)
Sword Transition: (if toggled on will run the animation to switch into cutlass mode in both the gun and the UE4 SK arms. when toggled off it will run the animations to change back to a gun.)
Attack: (Runs the three attack animations in both the gun and the UE4 SK arms in sequence for cutlass mode if in cutlass mode)
Overheat (this variable controls when the blade of the thermal cutlass with glow red. by default it will start to glow when in sword mode and stop glowing in gun mode.)
