Mountain North American Prairie is a specific area where the grasslands meet the mountains. It is a region characterized by tall grass and very few trees. This pack has everything you need to procedurally create huge open-world prairie worlds in Unreal Engine 5. Everything is procedurally generated (grass, flowers, trees, rocks) and all static meshes are Nanite. All assets are very well optimized so you can create enormous landscapes and still maintain a very good and game-ready framerate.

The pack contains 3 demo levels. One is an Overview level where you can visualize all the assets and the other 2 levels are example maps (100 square km landscapes and 16 square km landscapes). Both demo levels are created from heightmaps with 4k resolution. The pack is specially designed to create huge open-worlds in just a few clicks but it can also be used for small environments. The pack comes with a landscape auto-material with 12 layers so you can manually paint: snow, mud, dirt, cliffs, pavement, sand etc.

This product supports Lumen for versions 5.1 +. If You want to use the pack at it's full potential, I recommend using Lumen. In order to enable Lumen (if it is not already enabled) you should go to Project Settings/Engine/Rendering and make sure you have the following setup:


  1. Dynamic Global Illumination Method - LUMEN
  2. Reflection Method - LUMEN
  3. Shadow Map Method - Virtual Shadow Maps
