Master Material Definitive is a master material package that allows you to create complex, high-quality materials quickly and easily fully compatible with Lumen. With only four optimized and clearly arranged master materials, you can create instanced materials with a wide variety of parameters.


The four master materials included in Master Material Definitive are MM_Standard, MM_Cloth, MM_Glass and MM_Tinted_Glass. Each is optimized to offer a wide variety of customization options and allow you to create complex materials with ease.

MM_Standard is the ideal master material for creating a wide variety of textures and surface effects, from wood and stone to metal and plastic. MM_Cloth, on the other hand, is designed specifically for the creation of fabric and soft materials, such as silk, cotton, linen and many others.

MM_Glass is designed for the creation of glass materials with a high degree of realism, including options to customize opacity, gloss and transparency. Finally, MM_Tinted_Glass offers all the features of MM_Glass with the addition of the ability to customize the color and intensity in the glass material.


These four master materials allow you to create a wide range of complex materials, from subsurfaces and fabrics to materials with clear coat functionality, emissives, crystals and many other options. In addition, you can customize your materials with effects such as parallax, texture movement and wind effects to add an extra touch of realism to your projects.

Important/Additional Notes:


To activate Clear Coat type materials in the Project Settings go to Rendering > Materials and then click on the check mark box that is next to Clear Coat Enable Second Normal option to enable it.
