This pack is perfect for that because it comes with highly optimized (Nanite) procedural foliage (grass, trees, rocks), smart landscape auto-material with slope variation and 8 layers and 3 example levels with different lighting horror specific (daytime and nighttime) + 1 Overview level where you can see all the assets. There are 2 example levels with a surface area of 16 square km and 1 example level with a surface area of 225 square km. The landscapes of the demo level are created from real-world heightmaps, 4k resolution. Everything is game ready and designed for speed and high quality. The smart landscape auto-material comes in 2 versions (each one has different optimization solutions) so you can choose whatever version suits you and your project better. The pack is designed for huge outdoor open-world horror projects but it can also be used for small environments. Because everything is procedurally generated, you will be able to create in minutes similar maps to demo levels from this pack.
All the auto-material landscape layers have 4k resolution textures.
The auto-material from this pack will adapt to any landscape you have, it doesn't matter if you import a heightmap, you sculpt the landscape with alpha brushes, or you use the classic sculpting tools from Unreal Engine 5. For very realistic results, I recommend using this pack in combination with a real-world heightmap/landscape
This product supports Lumen for versions 5.1 +. If You want to use the pack at it's full potential, I recommend using Lumen. In order to enable Lumen (if it is not already enabled) you should go to Project Settings/Engine/Rendering and make sure you have the following setup:
- Dynamic Global Illumination Method - LUMEN
- Reflection Method - LUMEN
- Shadow Map Method - Virtual Shadow Maps
