Because of the way the doors slide open and closed, the bone placement for the doors, are unconventional. The bones are placed outside of the model and on the opposite sides of the doors, meaning the left door is controlled by the bone and the right and right door, by the bone on the left. This is done to create the correct arc needed to slide the door. It has no negative impact on anything other than the bone placement being outside the norm.
