The Dynamic Minimap System allows you to easily add minimap functionality to your projects. With numerous settings to customize its look, feel and functionality, you can tailor this asset to suit your needs. It also includes a built in feature to display in-world icons over objects that are tracked on the minimap.
- Very easy to set up and use.
- Many options including scale, optional area text and animated icons.
- Choose between a circle or square minimap.
- Allows tracking of objects outside the minimap area.
- Includes 24 icons, all of which can be tinted to a different color. Or you can easily add your own icons.
- Objects that are tracked on the minimap can optionally have an in-world icon, such as a quest marker above an NPC's head. One tickbox to enable this functionality.
- Can change icon properties during runtime, such as image, scale, animation type, hide, show...etc.
- Supports transitioning between adjacent areas, and "area within an area" overlapping setups, such as a building within a larger external area.
- Comes with a prebuilt city level that showcases the minimap system. You are free to use any of the level assets in your own projects.
- Extensive video guides to show you how to set up the minimap system, as well as all the customisable options.
Note: You will need to draw the actual minimap images yourself, as they will be specific to your project. All minimap images used in this project were drawn in Inkscape, a free and open source 2D vector based graphics program.
